We operate naocam to help you explore live video feeds around the world. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how that data is used, and which third‑party services are involved when you browse the site or watch embedded streams.
When you load the site, our servers automatically log basic telemetry such as IP address, browser details, approximate location inferred from your IP, the pages you view, and timestamps. This information is used for security, analytics, and capacity planning.
We use first‑party cookies and localStorage to remember map filters, UI preferences, and favorites so the experience feels snappy and personalized. These values stay on your device; we do not monetize or sell this locally stored data.
naocam relies on third parties to deliver its core features. Map tiles and geospatial data are requested from providers such as MapLibre and OpenStreetMap; those providers receive your IP address, browser details, and the tile coordinates needed to render the map. Analytics and log processing may be handled by trusted vendors who only receive pseudonymized data.
Every webcam stream is embedded directly from its source network. When you watch a feed, your browser connects to that source server (or CDN), which may log IP address, device information, and viewing activity under its own privacy policy. We do not control these third‑party logs or cookies, and we encourage you to review each provider’s policy if you have questions.
We use Google AdSense and similar partners to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads to you. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads or learn more about how Google uses data at google.com/policies/technologies/ads. Other ad partners may place their own cookies or pixels to measure performance and control frequency.

naocam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please reach out so we can delete it promptly.
